Mighty Owl Bots Robotics Tournament 10-11-19

The VEX IQ Challenge, presented by the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation, provides elementary and middle school students with exciting, open-ended robotics and research project challenges that enhance their science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) skills through hands-on, student-centered learning. The VEX IQ Challenge fosters student development of the teamwork, critical thinking, project management, and communication skills required to prepare them to become the next generation of innovators and problem solvers. Red Ribbon Week! October 28-Nov 1st

Red Ribbon Week was developed in 1988 to promote an awareness of
the dangers of alcohol and other drugs. This special week was developed to honor the memory of Enrique Camarena. During the week of October 28th , we will have special activities to educate our students on the dangers of drugs and the importance of making positive choices.

LA Clippers Read to Achieve

This program was designed to reinforce the importance of education and literacy to youth in our community. The goal of Read to Achieve is to build a lifelong love or reading. For the next 6 weeks (October 7th-November 15th) students will track their minutes spend reading and record them on the Minutes Challenge Tracking Sheet.
