Dual Language Coming Soon! Sheridan ES will start a dual language program in Kindergarten next school year. The goal of dual language is to for students to culminate from Sheridan in 6th grade fully bilingual in English and Spanish. Student Council Participates in Luncheon Our Student Council participated in a community event sponsored by the Hollenbeck Youth Center. Many individuals were recognized for their contributions to our Boyle Heights community.
Go East LA 2017-2018 GO (Great Outcomes) East LA was developed by Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) Board Member Mónica García, East Los Angeles College (ELAC) President Marvin Martinez, and California State University, Los Angeles President William A. Covino. This Wednesday they came to Sheridan and made a pledge to our 5th and 6th grade students to help them in their path to college.
Walk to School 2017 Our Walk to School event was a huge success! Thank you to all our Sheridan Street School community for joining us. There were over 200 people that participated in this event.
